History

KINVONVIE has been held by the family for over 100 years. Other prominent farming properties such as Kolor, Langulac,and Banemore were also part of the Twomey ‘s pastoral holdings at one stage after first settling in the district from Ireland in 1843.

Today Tim Stewart, the eldest of Michael and Virginia (Twomey) Stewart’s children owns KINVONVIE, and has expanded and improved the homestead and acreage. Kinvonvie currently runs a commercial super fine merino sheep and fat lamb operation.

Tim additionally also keeps a number of thoroughbred polo ponies on the property.


Location

KINVONVIE is 330 kms west of melbourne, and located 12 kms from the local town of Hamilton with a population of 10,000. Hamilton has an excellent airport for private and commercial aircraft.

The historic farming property is conveniently located in Western Victoria near to the wine region of Connawarra , the Grampians mountain range at Dunkeld, Wannon / Nigretta falls, and the popular seaside resort of Port Fairy.
